• Answers you give in the route check: nationality, route interest, investment range, readiness of source-of-funds documents, timeline, and the family members you would include.
• Whether you would like to discuss your background privately. We store only this preference, never any details.
• Your contact details: name, email, phone number, preferred contact channel and time zone.
• A record of your consent, with the date and the version of this policy you saw.
• Details you give when you book a consultation, and messages you send us.

Please don't send us details of any criminal record or other sensitive information through this website.

• To reply to your enquiry and take the steps you ask for before any agreement with us (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
• To send you news and updates, only if you opt in (Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw your consent at any time.
• To protect the site against spam and abuse, and to keep it working (Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interests).

We use your answers to decide how soon and how to follow up. This is an internal ordering only. It has no legal or similarly significant effect on you, and a person reads every enquiry.

We use service providers to run this site and handle enquiries: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Neon (database, hosted in the EU), Resend (email delivery), Cloudflare Turnstile (spam protection) and Cal.com (booking). They process data only on our instructions. We share your details with a law firm or another provider only when you ask us to introduce you.

Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

If you don't become a client, we delete your enquiry 12 months after our last contact with you. If you become a client, we keep your data for as long as we provide the service and as the law requires.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, including asking us to delete your enquiry, email hello@farolresidency.com. We reply within one month.

You can complain to the data protection authority where you live or work, or to Hungary's authority, the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH).
